October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when they organize numerous public health events to highlight the importance of early detection of breast cancer and regular diagnostic examinations.

Hotel Esplanade, in collaboration with the non-profit organization P.I.N.K. life, traditionally marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the event and party "Fight Like a Girl". Many guests from social life enjoyed the elegant ambiance, pleasant atmosphere and top-notch gourmet delicacies. Our team was happy to accept the invitation and participate in the event this year.

Malignant diseases continue to be one of the leading public health problems in the Republic of Croatia. According to the latest published data, in Croatia in 2020 there were 2,869 new cases of breast cancer, and in 2022 647 women died from the same disease.
